Oh yay!Finally(again),i'm gonna blog about everything,
EVERYTHING that's been happening for the past two weeks.
First of all was the orientation week which we called it Minggu Haluan Siswa.It was fun but tiring.Very very tiring.We were only given very limited time to do our own things which make me hope for more hours a day.
But finally it ended on Friday night and we had our sports day the next day.I joined the basketball 3 on 3 competition representing my hostel and we got third!!Well,fourth to be exact but we received the same medals as the team who got third.Guess they gave medals to the four teams who got into semi-final.I was badly injured all throughout the practices and also on the competition day.But all those bruises and scars(also sunburnt and now look like a malay) were worth it when i,the captain of my team,received the medals on the stage. *grin*
So the orientation aka torture week ended marking the starting of classes.The course i'm taking now consists of 6 subjects : Programming Techniques, Linear Algebra, Digital Logic, Information System and Technology, English for "xxx"(i forgot what) Communication and Ethnic Relationship.
Last week's lectures were all about introduction to those subjects.So the teaching only started this week.Also,we started to have assignments and meetings this week.With the SUKAM(official sports day) around the corner,we're even busier.Hectic schedule.Well,only applied to those who are active la..eg ME. *ahem* Hahas..
My classes started on Monday which was 2 days ago.Lecturers were going very fast with the slides so we won't have the chance to copy the notes,meaning we had to do revision and find notes on our own after classes(at nights).
We got to know the results of our application of PTPTN on Monday.To add to the many revisions we need to do,we need to settle the PTPTN stuffs too.All of us were scheduled into different time to listen to the "taklimat" on how to sign the contract and to give back the forms and everything.But the stafs weren't working very professionally resulting in a very congested situation.Everyone wanted to settle the things fast so the room was packed like a can of sardine.
Finally i've got my contract signed and forms filled by 5.30.(I had to skipped 2 classes to settle this!)And they asked us to come back at 8pm to give in the forms.So i went back to my room,bathe,eat and set out again to that hall.Reached there at 8.15pm with my friends but the hall's still closed.So we waited and waited and finally it opened at 9.15pm.The queue was incredibly long.It was scary.But anyhow we queued up because we didn't want to come back again the next morning.
It was 11pm when our turn finally came.We were damn exhausted coz had been standing for 3 hours.I felt really tired and worn out because i woke up 6.30am that day since my class started at 8am.The whole day i had been walking back and forth from faculty to hostel to the hall and to faculty again and to hostel and the cycle went on.Also,i was having slight stomachache that day.Reached hostel at 11.45pm,bathe and slept at 12.15am.Luckily the next morning my class was at 10am.
But that night,i had terrible terrible stomachache.The pain woke me up at 1.30am and i had to go to the toilet so badly that i had to wake my roommate(i was scared to go toilet alone at that kinda time).But she was sleeping so soundly she couldn't wake up.Then i went next door and woke another friend up.She accompanied me to the toilet.After that we went back to sleep.But the pain hit me again so i woke her up again and we went toilet AGAIN.She offered to sleep with me so she could accompany me to the toilet again but i refused coz she needs to sleep.
I took sum med and applied oil and went to sleep.The pain didnt come anymore until 4.30am.I had to go toilet again but this time i went alone coz it was nearly dawn and i wasnt that scared anymore.The process kept repeating until 6.30am when my roommate and the other 2 next door woke up for class.I was in so much pain i must have looked very pale coz they gave me another type of med and helped me massage my stomach and hand.
At 9.30am,i decided i couldn't go to class anymore coz i was feeling very tired because of the running-to-the-toilet-and-back-to-room cycle all night long.At 10.30am i couldnt stand the pain anymore so my friend tao tao came to bring me go see doctor at the uni's clinic.Actually look more like a hospital.With lots of doctors.And it's free!! =) The doc examined me using the stethoscopes and said "Banyak bunyi kat dalam arh..Bising lagi!" Hahas...the doc very cute.So he gave me lots of med,the rehydration drink coz he said i was dehydrated and also a medical leave so i wouldnt have to go to all the classes on that day.
Felt much better after taking the med though the drug level was damn high.Make me so sleepy everytime i took it.Today i was feeling much much better.Just damn sleepy in classes coz i took the med early in the morning.Hahas....stupid me.My class ended at 12.50pm.Back to hostel,slept til 5.30pm just now.Hee...Blame the drugs!!
That's what been happening lately.Well,life here as i said,is great.I've got a good and caring roommate though sometimes she's too neat and hardworking which bothers me alot because i'm not.Hahas..Also,i got along very well with the 2 girls next door.4 of us always hang out together whenever we don't have classes because we're all in different sections though same course.We go to dinner together every night and during weekends' nights we will play Chor Tai D til very "early in the morning".Hehe..Also one of them is my gossip partner.Our favourite past time.Muahahah...We would sit at the food court everyday after dinner and share opinions(in another word,gossip) about people.Haha..We got along so well maybe partly because we're both Cancerian. *wink*
All in all,they're a bunch of great friends who can go crazy with me,study together and also take care of me when i'm sick *so touched*.
That's all i can think of for now.Also i think it's a very very long entry le..Hee..
